Project
Kemper Midwest Website
A Brief
This website was started by McKenzie Wagner's previous developer while playing with Netlify and Gatsby. The client wasn't aware of the static site. Every time the client added a new image, it took 5-7 minutes for Netlify to build static pages and that got client frustrated. Apart from that, since it's a static site, the contact form wasn't working. The client asked us to change it back to a "normal" WordPress site.
This was my second project converting a Gatsby-Netlify site into a WordPress site and took a bit time to make everything back to PHP with faster rendering, optimized and lazy load images, meta tags for SEO, all forms working and caching enabled.
